Bathroom & Shower Plumbing Across Birmingham FAQs

How long does a full bathroom installation take?
A typical full bathroom refit takes around five to ten working days depending on the size, the amount of tiling, and whether the layout is changing. A straight like-for-like replacement is at the shorter end. We give you a day-by-day plan with the quote.
Do you supply the bathroom suite or do I buy it?
Either. Plenty of customers enjoy choosing their own suite and tiles, and we are happy to fit what you have bought. If you would rather we sourced it, we can point you to reliable suppliers and quote for supply and fit.
Can you convert my bathroom into a wet room?
Yes. Wet rooms need proper tanking, correct floor falls and the right drainage, which is where most DIY conversions go wrong. We handle the plumbing and waterproofing and coordinate the tiling so it is watertight for the long term.
Should I choose an electric shower or a mixer shower?
An electric shower heats water on demand and keeps working if the boiler fails, which suits smaller households and second bathrooms. A mixer shower uses your existing hot water and generally gives a stronger, more consistent flow, especially with a combi boiler or a good pressurised system. We will advise based on the system you actually have.
Do you work alongside tilers, electricians and plasterers?
Yes. We coordinate with the other trades so the job runs in the right order and nobody is left waiting. If you do not have trades lined up, we can recommend people we have worked with for years.
Can we still use the toilet while the work is going on?
In most cases yes. We plan the work so you are not left without a toilet overnight wherever it is physically possible, and we tell you in advance about any short periods when water needs to be off.
