How long does a new boiler installation take in Birmingham?

A straight combi swap in the same position is usually one day. Moving the boiler to another room, or converting from a conventional system or back boiler to a combi, normally takes two days. We confirm the timescale with your quote so you can plan around it.

How soon can you fit a new boiler?

In most cases we can start the next day, and often the same day if you are without heating or hot water. Give us a call and we will tell you honestly when we can get to you rather than leaving you guessing.

Which boiler brands do you install?

Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Ideal, Baxi, Glow-worm and Main are the ones we fit most. We recommend based on the size of your home, your hot water demand and your budget, not on what we happen to have in the van.

What warranty do I get with a new boiler?

It depends on the make and model, and ranges from 5 to 12 years. We register the warranty with the manufacturer for you and notify the installation with Gas Safe, so your certificate arrives without you chasing anything.

Do I need a magnetic filter fitting?

Most manufacturers now require one for the warranty to stay valid. It catches the sludge and debris circulating in the system before it reaches the new boiler, so it is worth having whether it is required or not. We include it in the quote and explain why.

Do you remove and dispose of the old boiler?

Yes. The old boiler, pipework offcuts, packaging and any waste all go with us. We sheet up before we start and hoover through before we leave.

Can you move my boiler to a different room?

Usually yes. Kitchens, utility rooms, garages and loft spaces are all common. It adds pipework, a new flue route and often condensate run, so it takes longer than a straight swap. We look at it properly and quote you the full job rather than a headline price.
