How long does it take to replace a kitchen tap?

Most kitchen tap replacements take around an hour. It can take longer if the existing fittings are corroded or access under the sink is tight, but we carry the common valves and connectors so it is normally a single visit.

Why is my kitchen tap dripping, and can it be repaired?

A drip is usually a worn ceramic cartridge or washer. On a good quality tap that is a cheap repair. On a budget tap where parts are no longer made, replacing the whole tap often works out cheaper than chasing spares. We will tell you which applies to yours.

Can you plumb in a dishwasher or washing machine?

Yes. We fit the appliance valve, waste connection and any pipework needed, then run the machine to check for leaks. Allow around an hour for a straightforward install, longer if new pipework has to be run to the appliance position.

Can you fit a boiling water tap?

Yes. Boiling water taps need a tank under the sink, a filter and a dedicated electrical supply, so we check you have space and a socket before quoting. We fit the plumbing and coordinate the electrical side if needed.

Do you do the plumbing for a full kitchen fit?

Yes. We handle the first fix, moving supply and waste pipework to the new layout, and come back for the second fix once the units are in to connect the sink, appliances and any boiler relocation.

There is water under my kitchen units. Can you find where it is coming from?

Yes. Water under units can come from the tap tails, the waste, the appliance hoses or a hidden pipe in the wall or floor. We trace it properly rather than guessing, then repair it and dry out the area so it does not damage the carcasses.
