What drives the price
Every quote is built from these factors:

- Brand and warranty length; a 10 or 12-year warranty typically costs more up front.
- Whether the boiler stays in the same position or moves.
- Whether you're converting from a cylinder system to a combi.
- Condition of existing pipework, gas supply size and flue routing.
- Extras such as a magnetic filter, smart thermostat, system flush and making good.
Comparing quotes fairly
Check each quote includes the flue kit, a system cleanse, inhibitor, a magnetic filter, Gas Safe notification and manufacturer registration. A cheaper quote missing those items usually isn't cheaper by the time the job is finished.
